The accoutrements of wooden churches of Transcarpathia and the Galician Boyko Region: commonality and differences in construction and decoration.
The sanctuaries of Transcarpathian and Galician Boyko Region churches have examined to re­veal both the universal and the unique features of their wooden construction and decorations. Their common traits are based on the principles of general Ukrainian art, and their originality is revealed through the individual creative manner of the artists and/or individual workshops. Moreover, local artistic tastes are traced through the design of the church interiors.
